Tegs Tools is a third generation family-owned and operated retail business, established in 1979 in the east end of Hamilton where the store at 1104 Barton St. E. at Ottawa still operates today. By the end of 2002 it was time for Tegs to expand. A new location on the Hamilton mountain was opened. Flush with seven more years of success, the business outgrew its location and moved into a spacious, new home at 1361 Rymal Rd. E at Dartnall.
Each location now has over 5,000 square feet of tools and machinery from all major brand power tool manufacturers. Woodworking and metalworking machinery from the most trusted names in the industry. Customers will also find a vast selection of related accessories, consumables, hand tools and automotive specialty tools from all the top manufacturers. This huge on-hand inventory ensures there’s always a wide variety, and customers will be sure to find the right tool for any job.
Tegs Tools purchases products from hundreds of suppliers so customers get the best possible selection. In fact, if on the odd chance either one of the Tegs locations doesn’t have what you need, rest assured they can get it. Tegs Tools has acquired a reputation as being a supplier who not only provides the tools necessary but can source special requests as well.
