Furthermore, WaterKlean™ will also remove a wide range of heavy metal and other cations via ion exchange such as:
Rb+, Li+, K+, Cs+, NH4+, Na+, Ag+, Cd+2, Pb+2, Zn+2, Ba+2, Sr+2, Cu+2, Ca+2, Hg+2, Mg+2, Fe+2, Co+3, Al+3, and Cr+3
To use, install WaterKlean™ in filter according to the manufacturers recommendation and backwash prior to use. It can also be applied to ponds, effluents and over natural soils at a rate of 1/2-3 pounds per square foot. This product can be regenerated for reuse by backwashing with a solution of 10% sodium chloride.
WaterKlean™ is non-toxic, safe, reusable recyclable, natural, odorless, non-flammable and non-caustic. It is an ideal environmentally friendly solution for absorbing odors and removing heavy metals without adding pollutants to the environment. WaterKlean™ does not contain VOCs, harmful or ozone depleting chemicals and is especially beneficial for those suffering from allergies and chemical sensitivity.
